Local nonprofit groups will benefit from $42,500 in grants awarded by Cowlitz County Community Fund this year. The local foundation is part of the Community Foundation for Southwest Washington.
Recipients include: Community Health Partners with $4,600 for medical equipment and online support system, Lower Columbia College Head Start had $3,600 for health and dental kits for children and parents, Cowlitz Community CASA with $2,100 for core volunteer training and others.
